Tanzanite owes its name to Tiffany, who in the 1970s had exclusivity for this beautiful, blue-purple mineral that is only found near Mount Kilimanjaro. This stone is considered as a symbol of wealth. Apatite often is found in Burma, Mexico and Sri Lanka. A blue tinted variation of beryl is known as the Aquamarine. Also known as the "Stone of Courage", bringing courage to shy people, helping express them their emotions, achieve their goals and gain financial benefits. Aquamarines are sourced in Columbia, South America but also in Pakistan. The noble, intensely green Olivine is formed at very great depths of the earth. Hawaiians call this beautiful stone the tears of the god of fire - Pele. They believe it gives courage and improves clarity of thinking.
