Aquamarines are sourced in Columbia, South America but also in Pakistan. Violet Iolite is known for combining what the heart wants with the logic of the mind. It is said Iolite encourages individual expression and gives you strength and hope in solving difficult issues. The name Larimar was created from the combination of the name Larissa and the association of the color of the stone with the blue of the Caribbean Sea - "mar". It is said that this stone opens the heart and radiates with the energy of love.
